Rainbow Falls Park

Chestermere has a bit of a watery theme going for it. This small park contains a gorgeous man-made waterfall and stream. Excellent for short walks, this park is great for children to explore on a nice Summer day.

Rainbow Park also offers an elevated view of the surrounding neighbourhood.

Sunset Park

This lakeside park is aptly named for its gorgeous view of Alberta’s famous sunsets. Perfect for large family picnics, Sunset Park also holds a dock for you to launch your boat from.

Cove Park Playground

Another lakeside park, this area contains a nautical-themed playground. It is a perfect place to let your kids blow off some steam. Surrounding trails also allow you to explore the northern shore of Chestermere Lake. 

Cove Park Playground also hosts a public tennis court and a bridge overlooking the canal.

Fish Creek Provincial Park

Prince’s Island Park 

Prince’s Island Park is a popular outdoor space located in Calgary, Canada. It is a beautiful park filled with trees, flowers, and a river that runs through it.

Banff National Park

Kananaskis Provincial Park

This park, just West of Calgary, is a little closer and less busy than Banff. It arguably has an equal amount of gorgeous trails and scenery. Kananaskis is also home to a few Ski Resorts, including Kananaskis Village.

Remember, unlike most provincial parks in Alberta, Kananaskis require a paid parking pass.
